Mohammad Hatta was born on August 12, 1902 in West Sumatra, to be precise in the city of Bukit Tinggi. Hatta became the first vice president in Indonesia. He helped Soekarno and the nation's founders a lot in achieving independence. He is a person who likes to read. He is also known as the Father of Indonesian Cooperatives. Hatta promoted an economic concept that was based on the spirit of community cooperation. Cooperatives are a pillar of the economy at the smallest level, such as villages. An empowered village, both in terms of economy and food, will make a nation stronger.
